Warranty Policy
ISUP, Paddle Boards and Kayaks
We understand that sometimes things go wrong, so we provide a three-year warranty on the board and all parts and accessories in our packages. This means you are covered for any manufacturing faults on all parts for three years from the purchase date.
General Terms and Conditions
If a product is found to be defective by Aqua Spirit, at their discretion, Aqua Spirit’s responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product.
Aqua Spirit will not be responsible for any costs, losses, or damages incurred as a result of the use of the product. This warranty is subject to the following limitations in addition to any imposed by virtue of applicable law.
What does the warranty apply to?
Only products purchased directly from the Aqua Spirit website and from Authorized Aqua Spirit sellers. Warranties cannot be transferred; this includes gifted items.
- Original Purchaser Only: Warranties should only be claimed by the person who purchased the item directly from Aqua Spirit or an authorized Aqua Spirit retailer. Third-party claims by individuals who did not make the original purchase are not eligible for warranty service.
- Gifted Items: If you received an Aqua Spirit product as a gift and wish to make a warranty claim, please be aware that the warranty remains with the original purchaser. In the event that a third party (the gift giver) needs to make a claim on your behalf, we kindly advise them to seek the party who placed the original order. Aqua Spirit's warranty service is intended to support the original purchasers of our products.
The warranty is void if any modification or alteration has been made to the product without authorization from Aqua Spirit in writing.
If a repair or replacement has taken place, the Warranty only applies for the remainder of the period from the original purchase date.
Repairs will be completed subject to available parts. We will do our best to match the original product, but we cannot guarantee that you will receive the exact product back.
If you have not purchased directly from Aqua Spirit, any warranty claims must be supported by the original purchase receipt, clearly identifying the Authorized seller.
If a defect is found in the materials or craftsmanship, we will complete a repair, free of charge, or replace at our discretion.
This warranty is in addition to and does not affect your legal rights under laws.
What does the warranty not cover?
- Normal wear and tear.
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or user error.
- Punctures.
- Excessive UV/Heat Exposure (shown by distinct yellow glue staining around seams or fading of parts such as fins and logos).
- Improper handling, cleaning, care or storage.
- Intentional and accidental breakages.
- Lost items.
- Damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship; this includes improper customer repairs or alterations.
- Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and the warranty also does not cover other damages that may be similar to the above mentioned.
Further breakdown by product/accessory
Paddles: The following is not covered - damage caused by impact with objects, falling on the paddle, paddle sinking, breakage or damage to the mechanism due to improper use, normal wear and tear, or damage from use outside the intended purpose.
Bag: The following is not covered - fading, tears, rips, holes caused by abuse or excessive strain. Zip damage from improper care, normal wear and tear, or damage from use outside of its intended purpose.
Fins & Leashes: The following is not covered - damage caused by use in surf zones, impact with objects, or normal wear and tear or damage from use outside the intended purpose.
How to make a warranty claim
Send your request in writing to support@aquaspiritisup.com, stating your order number, full name, and address and providing proof of purchase.
Please include a picture or video detailing the nature of the issue for which you are making the claim.
The claim will be reviewed by our product team to establish if the damage is covered by the terms of our warranty. If the damage is deemed to be as a result of misuse or wear and tear, you will be informed, and Aqua Spirit will not have any further responsibility to repair this.
If the damage is covered by the warranty, we will endeavour to repair or replace as per our warranty terms.
For minor aesthetic issues, we may ask you to complete the repair yourself to enable you to continue using your product without a period of disruption. If you do not feel confident to complete the repair yourself, we will arrange for the product to be returned and replaced. If the product is unavailable we will endeavour to issue a replacement of equal quality.
If you are prepared to complete the repair yourself, we will provide the materials and instruction to ensure that you can complete this.
For major issues, reported within the warranty period, where repair by you is not feasible, we will have the product returned and issue a new product in replacement. If the same product is not available, you may be offered an equivalent product instead.
If a return to Aqua Spirit for repair is required, we will ask you to package up the product that requires repair and arrange a collection with our courier.
The complete ISUP and kit must be returned in the original packaging provided. If the original packaging is unavailable, repackaging the goods is at the buyers own cost. Aqua Spirit do not provide replacement boxes.
On receipt of the product, we will check the product for the reported defects and complete the required repairs. Please note, it can take up to 14 days to process a return once we have received this.
Hot Tubs
Welcome to Aqua Spirit Hot Tubs, where we prioritize your relaxation and safety. Please read this warranty information carefully to ensure the safe and enjoyable use of your hot tub.
Safety Precautions:
- Age Requirement: Aqua Spirit Hot Tubs are suitable for ages 8 and above. Children under 8 should not use the hot tub, and older children should always be supervised by a responsible adult.
- Pet Safety: Pets must be kept away from the hot tub at all times. Their presence can disrupt the water's cleanliness and poses safety risks.
- Cover Use: Always keep the hot tub covered when it's not in use. This helps maintain water quality and prevents accidents.
- Weather Conditions: Do not use the hot tub in high winds or during thunderstorms. Electrical components and water don't mix well with adverse weather.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure that any electrical sockets/adapters are shielded from poor weather at all times. Place them away from the hot tub when it's in use. Use a minimum 12A fuse to protect electrical components.
- Clear the Area: Before using the hot tub, clear the surrounding area of sharp objects or debris that could puncture the tub's surface.
Warranty Details:
- Hot Tub Warranty: Your Aqua Spirit Hot Tub is covered by a 6-month warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship errors.
- Electrical Parts Warranty: Electrical components, including pumps, heaters, and control panels, are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects and workmanship errors.
Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Regular wear and tear due to usage over time is not covered under this warranty.
- Misuse: Damage resulting from improper use, mishandling, or neglect, including leaving the hot tub uncovered during adverse weather, is not covered.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Any unauthorized modifications or repairs to the hot tub or its electrical components void the warranty.
- Weather Damage: This warranty does not cover any damage or issues caused by exposure to various weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, snow, sun, wind, or extreme temperature fluctuations.
